U-13 BOYS TOPS IN FIVE GOAL THRILLER

St Patrick's (A)  2  Charleville (B) 3

The Under 13 B's kick started their season last Saturday with a tough win over a strong Patrickswell. We started brightly moving the ball around well in midfield. We were one up within ten minutes when the Patrickswell keeper spilled a long range shot from Aaron Dundon and Darragh Foley was quickest too react too slot it home from a tight angle. Patrickswell came straight back at us and were level after five minutes from a corner. We picked ourselves back up and started too control the game again and just before half time we were in front again through Aaron Dundon with a lovely strike from 20 yards giving the keeper no chance. In the second half we caught Patrickswell on the brake and won a corner which Connor Slevin took and it went straight in. We didn't look like conceding another but in the last five minutes the ref gave a harsh penalty and our keeper Ian Culhane was unlucky not too save. The lads played very well and deserved the three points.

Starting Line Up: Ian Culhane, Danny Malony, Jack Walsh, PJ Foley, Mark Buckley, Jason O Keeffe, Connor Slevin, Aaron Dundon, Sean O Connor, Darragh Foley, Calvin Curtin. Subs: (Both Used) Kiernan Smith and Cillian Bowles
